2. What data we collect
- Contact form and WhatsApp: name, email, phone and the content of your message.
- Bookings: name, surname, email, phone, address, number of guests, dates of stay and payment details.
- Guest registration: identity document details of every guest aged 14 or over, as required by Spanish law (Royal Decree 933/2021).
- Browsing: technical data collected through cookies, as described in our Cookie Policy.

4. How long we keep it
Enquiries: up to one year after the last contact. Booking data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and the periods required by tax and accounting law. Guest registration data: three years, as required by RD 933/2021.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with public authorities when required by law (such as the Guardia Civil for guest registration and the tax authorities), and with service providers who process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
6. Service providers
Hosting and website maintenance, payment providers, WhatsApp (Meta) for chat messages, and booking platforms when the booking is made through them. Some providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; in that case transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to the processing of your data by emailing info@esganxohouse.com with a copy of your ID. If you consider that your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
